Day 1: Over time, concrete can shift and develop cracks, making your pool, driveways, garages, or entrances unsafe to walk on. Sunflex poured rubber surfacing is versatile and can be installed over a variety of surfaces, including new or worn concrete, patio stones, interlock, tamped stone, and more.

Day 2: We filled holes and gaps with recycled crumb rubber granules and polyurethane aromatic binder. Most applications do not need the removal of concrete.

Day 3: The Sunflex premium EPDM rubber granules are carefully blended with polyurethane binder and meticulously applied by hand troweled onto the prepared surface and selective thickness, which is primed beforehand. The distinctive colour combination of our product is expertly applied by hand, resulting in a smooth and seamless finish without the need for relief cuts. Our rubber’s elasticity will adapt to the substrate.

Day 4: The poured rubber surface is ready for use after 48 hours. Please ensure that the prepared surface remains undisturbed for a minimum of 48 hours, with no footstep or traffic permitted.

Here are a few tips to help you effectively maintain your poured in place rubber surface.

Please ensure that sharp objects are kept away from the surface. That includes ladders, chairs with pointed legs, stiletto heels and more similar objects.

Please ensure that the area remains free from any debris, grime, moss, or other substances that may obstruct the space between the EPDM granules. Make sure to thoroughly clean the surface using a power wash wide angle nozzle.

Power wash up to 3300psi.

Wash, sweep, leaf blow or shop vac your rubber surfacing on a regular basis.

When you find surface rubber granulation coming out, rebind it. To confirm this rebind, make a shuffle foot step.

It is recommended to refrain from using solvents when cleaning the surface. Make sure to select the right detergents for the specific type of dirt you need to clean.

Pay attention to small holes. They will continue to grow in size and depth. Consider using a poured rubber repair kit to effectively fill the holes.
